RUBSEAL™ ADHESIVE & SEALANT

Partel RUBSEAL™ is a high performance, one component, adhesive & sealant engineered for internal and external applications requiring certified fire resistance and long term joint movement. It is designed for use in expansion joints, façade connections, and penetration seals where fire performance, elasticity, and weather durability are critical.

Application

Application Guidelines

• Ensure substrates are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, oil, or cement residues

• Use Partel ACRAPRIME on highly porous or stressed substrates where required

• Joint width must be between 5 mm and 35 mm

• Joint width should be at least four times the expected movement

• For joints wider than 16 mm, joint depth should be approximately half the width

• Prevent three sided adhesion using closed cell polyethylene backing rod or mineral wool backing

• Apply using a standard sealant gun and smooth before skin formation
