Partel’s portfolio of building envelope systems is designed to provide maximum reliability, durable product performance and efficient installation. Our products are developed to support airtight, windtight and moisture safe construction while allowing fast and consistent on site application.
All Partel products are rigorously tested to ensure compliance with current building regulations, energy performance standards and recognised industry test methods.
Partel systems hold numerous international certifications and are supported by limited product and system warranties, giving assurance of long term performance when installed in accordance with Partel specifications.
We believe in complete systems. Our warranty structure is designed to provide confidence where it matters most by supporting the use of compatible components, correct detailing and verified installation methods. Technical guidance and installer training can be provided to assist with correct system design and application.
Warranty Types
Partel provides limited warranties depending on the type of product, the building design and the extent to which a complete Partel system is used.
Ten Year Limited Product Warranty
All Partel products are covered by a Ten Year Limited Product Warranty from the date of delivery, provided that the products are stored, handled and installed in accordance with Partel instructions and published specifications.
This warranty covers product performance only.
Six Year Limited System Warranty
Where a complete Partel building envelope system is used on buildings up to two storeys in height, a limited system warranty may be provided covering reasonable repair costs to the affected area, subject to the conditions defined in the applicable warranty document.
Five Year Limited System Warranty
Where a complete Partel building envelope system is used on buildings greater than two storeys in height, a limited system warranty may be provided for a period of five years, subject to the conditions defined in the applicable warranty document.
Conditions for System Warranty
System warranties apply only where all of the following requirements are satisfied
• a complete Partel system is used
• installation follows published specifications
• products are stored and handled correctly
• weather exposure limits are not exceeded
• project specific hygrothermal analysis is completed where required
• installer training requirements are satisfied
• system warranty qualification documentation is completed prior to installation
Failure to meet these conditions may limit the warranty to the Ten Year Limited Product Warranty only.
Performance and System Design
Correctly designed airtight and windtight construction can provide the following benefits

• risk of mould growth is reduced
• indoor air quality is improved
• sound insulation performance is improved
• compliance with building regulations is easier to achieve
• wall and roof assemblies can dry safely over time
• durable materials improve long term performance
When correctly designed and installed, Partel systems can support very low air leakage levels and may be suitable for high performance buildings including Passive House standard construction. Final performance depends on the complete building design and installation quality.
